About the Role

If you are suitably qualified and experienced as a commercial Diving Supervisor or Life Support Technician, you may be interested in a position as a Casual Hyperbaric Chamber Technician at Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata Districts Slark Hyperbaric Unit located in Devonport.

About Us

Health New Zealand Waitematā provides health services to approximately 650,000 residents of the North Shore, Waitakere, and Rodney areas. It has the largest population of any district health area.

About you

Applicants must have thorough knowledge and experience in the application of therapeutic, recreational and commercial dive tables and be fully competent in the maintenance and operation of hyperbaric systems.

You will be expected to participate in an on call roster during week days and weekends and be able to maintain a minimum of 90 minutes occupied chamber supervision per quarter. When you are on call you will need to be able to be contacted for the whole of the time you are on call and you will need to remain within 1 hours traveling time of the chamber.
