As an ACCN, you will help ensure the effective day to day management of Renal patients and staff across the Home Therapies Units.
You will work alongside the Nurse Manager, educators, medical staff, nursing teams, dialysis technicians and the wider multidisciplinary team to support high standards of clinical practice. You will also help develop services that empower patients to participate actively in their care and, where appropriate, undertake haemodialysis and/ or training.
A key part of the position is providing coaching, clinical guidance and direct support to registered nurses, enrolled nurses, dialysis technicians, healthcare assistants, graduates and students. You will model excellent practice and support the ongoing development of a capable, confident and patient-focused team.
