Expression of Interest for Clinical Nurse Specialist, Permanent 0.6 FTE, Waikato Hospital.

We are excited to announce an internal opportunity for the position of Clinical Nurse Specialist in the Paediatric Community Care team. This position is open exclusively to Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora staff only.

About the Role

As a CNS in the paediatric community care team you will play a key role in providing specialist nursing care, support and advice; both in hospital, remotely, in the homes of children with chronic and/or complex medical conditions. 

This is an opportunity to work in a highly skilled, dynamic and supportive multi-disciplinary team.

The CNS also provides specialist nursing information, support and education to a variety of health care professionals to enable the child to be cared for at home.

About you

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:

• Minimum 4 years Paediatric experience 
• Experience caring for children with complex chronic health needs
• NZ driving license
• Proven leadership skills
• Expert communication skills
• Post Graduate certificate/diploma
