About the Role
As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will provide safe, effective, and person centred occupational therapy services across a variety of clinical settings within Allied Health Therapies. Working with patients, tangata whaiora, and whānau, you will complete assessments, develop intervention plans, support rehabilitation, and help individuals achieve greater independence and quality of life.
This is an excellent opportunity for a new graduate or early career Occupational Therapist to gain broad clinical experience through rotational placements while building confidence and capability with the support of experienced clinicians. You will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, develop your professional practice, and make a meaningful difference to the wellbeing of the Hawke's Bay community.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Our Allied Health Therapies team is made up of passionate and skilled health professionals who work together to deliver high quality care across a range of inpatient and community services. The team is committed to supporting professional growth, continuous learning, and excellent outcomes for patients and whānau.
Based in Hastings, this rotational role offers exposure to diverse clinical areas, providing an outstanding foundation for developing your occupational therapy career within a supportive and progressive healthcare environment.

About you
As a Rotational Occupational Therapist, you will be motivated to learn, committed to delivering high quality care, and passionate about improving health outcomes for patients and whānau.
- Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Relevant clinical placement or occupational therapy practice experience
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
- Full New Zealand driver licence
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous learning
