About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Therapy Assistant. This is a permanent full-time role, with 1fte 40hour per week. The primary purpose of the role is to assist Allied health professionals and ward staff to support client/ whānau centred cares with a multidisciplinary rehabilitative approach. This will include providing basic cares and personal cares, contributing towards rehabilitation, assisting with day-to-day administrative tasks and maintaining a safe, pleasant, functional environment.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Childrens Therapy are a team of skilled professionals who work within an interdisciplinary model of care based around the child or adolescent's stage of rehabilitation, needs and goals. Childrens Therapy Team members work closely with medical staff, nurses and the allied health professions across different Starship and Te Toka Tumai services.
About you
To be successful in this role, you'll bring:
- Level 3 NZQA qualification NZ Certificate in Health & Well being
- Experience as a Therapy Assistant/ Health Care Assistant
- Experience in working with people with disabilities
- An understanding of healthcare in New Zealand.
- Experience of working in a healthcare setting
