About the Role
The
Child Development Service within Children's Health Service is a
multidisciplinary team funded to provide specialist developmental assessment
and interventions using a holistic approach to enable children with
disabilities to reach their maximum potential within their families and
extended environment. The service is made up of 30+ health professionals
working over three different sites. The administration team provide
administration support for the team and service.
About the Team/Service/ Location
The Child Development team are a committed team of Allied health professionals.
The team
works within a transdisciplinary model, using a holistic approach to enable
children to reach their maximum potential within their families and extended
environment.
The team is comprised of the following disciplines: Speech Language Therapists, Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Developmental Paediatricians, Social Worker, Clinical Pathway Coordinator and ASD Coordinator. We have a small team of support staff to assist the work undertaken.

will work at Wellington, Te Wao Nui Children's Hospital and Puketiro Porirua

- A highly motivated administrator to provide effective and efficient administrative and typing support to the Child Development Service.
- You will have a flexible approach and a strong ability to multitask
- You will have strong customer service skills
- Ability to treat children and their families with respect and care.
