About the Role
Fixed term, Part-time Position available, 0.5 FTE (40 hours per fortnight)
Te Whatu Ora Taranaki is seeking the services of a Surgical Referrals and Booking Administrator
to work in our department at Taranaki Base Hospital. You would be working as part of a dynamic team within the Surgical Booking Office responsible for:
Referrals Management
Clinic and Theatre Scheduling
Close working relationship with Consultants and Registrars
Excellent working knowledge of Hospital Administration screens

About the Team/Service/ Location
Surgical Referrals and Booking Administrators play a crucial role in ensuring patients get the surgical care they need, improving lives and contributing to the health of our community.
The team work alongside healthcare professionals, including surgeons, nurses, and hospital staff, in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Their efficiency and attention to detail help optimize hospital operations and reduce wait times for patients.

About you
Desirable skills would include working knowledge of Webpas/IBA and Concerto patient systems
Ideally you would have previous Health Administration experience
