About the Role
Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Whanganui's Community Oral Health Service has a permanent full‑time opportunity for a Registered Oral Health Therapist or Dental Therapist.
As an Oral Health Therapist/Dental therapist in this service, you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining the oral health of the community. The role includes working within mobile and fixed dental clinics across the Whanganui region, providing accessible care to tamariki and rangatahi.
For Oral Health Therapists there is an opportunity to join the roster to provide hygiene treatments in our Pregnancy Dental Hygiene project.
If you are a new graduate, you will receive a comprehensive orientation programme, training, and mentoring support. This role may also suit someone looking to relocate or return to Whanganui.

About You
You will bring:
- Current New Zealand Dental Therapist/Oral Health Therapist registration
- A current Annual Practising Certificate
- A full driver licence
- A commitment to providing high‑quality care within a community setting
