About the Role
Health New Zealand Lakes is seeking a Senior Medical Officer with a passion for Gastroenterology and General Internal Medicine. This position is based at Rotorua Hospital and would join a Lakes wide team of 10+ Physicians.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Gastroenterologist to join our General Medicine team. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive gastroenterological services, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, to our diverse patient population. This role offers the chance to work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality care and improving patient outcomes.
About the Team/Service/ Location
You will join a team of a total 13 physicians whom vary in subspecialties from Cardiology, Endocrinology and Oncology.
Teaching and mentoring our 15 medical registrars and other house officer roles is an important part of our work. We want candidates who are team players committed to improving and developing services to meet the population need with a passion for the delivery of equitable healthcare.
