About the Role
As a Womens Health Physiotherapist, youll play an important role in supporting people through pre and postnatal care, hydrotherapy and communitybased outpatient clinics. This is a varied and rewarding position that spans inpatient, outpatient and community settings, giving you the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships and provide continuity of care across the pregnancy and postnatal journey.
Youll be joining the service at an exciting stage of development, helping shape and influence how womens health physiotherapy is delivered across Hawkes Bay. Working closely with an experienced outpatient Womens Health Physiotherapist, O&G specialists, midwives and the wider maternity and womens health teams, youll enjoy a good degree of autonomy supported by regular training and strong collegial guidance.

About the Team/Service/ Location
Youll be part of the Allied Health Therapies team at Hawkes Bay Fallen Soldiers Memorial Hospital - a proactive, supportive department that values collaboration, professional growth and a healthy worklife balance. The team is committed to providing highquality, culturally responsive care, and you will be a valued member as the Womens Health physiotherapy service continues to grow.
You will work closely alongside physiotherapists, midwives, nurses, SMOs and community partners in both wardbased and outpatient settings. Regular staff meetings, ongoing CPD opportunities and a friendly team culture - including social activities - help foster a strong sense of connection and shared purpose.

About you
Youll be a motivated, compassionate physiotherapist who is passionate about womens health and enjoys working across multidisciplinary teams. You will bring:
- New Zealand registration as a Physiotherapist and a current APC
- At least two years of clinical experience, ideally in an area aligned with womens or pelvic health
- Strong assessment and clinical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and the ability to build rapport with clients and whānau
- A positive, selfdirected approach and commitment to highquality, personcentred care
- Ability to work collaboratively across inpatient, outpatient and community environments
- Competence with clinical documentation and Microsoft Office
- A full NZ drivers licence
Previous womens health experience, pelvic health training, or experience working within an MDT will be an advantage - but support and training will be provided.
