We are seeking a New Zealand–registered Medical Imaging Technologist (MIT) to join the supportive, enthusiastic, and professional Radiology team at Whanganui Hospital. CT experience is preferred, and motivated MITs with strong clinical skills and a positive attitude are encouraged to apply.
About the Role
This position is ideally suited to MITs with CT experience, although confident general MITs are also welcome. You will be working within a dynamic Radiology Department that values critical thinking, collaboration, and high-quality patient care.
The role includes participation in the evening, night, weekend, and on-call roster.
About the Team, Service & Location
Whanganui Radiology is a modern, well-equipped department featuring:
- 4 Digital Radiography (DR) rooms
- 2 DR mobile units
- 2 flat-panel C-arms
- Digital fluoroscopy
- CT, MRI, Ultrasound, and Echocardiography services

You will work across either the General X-ray or CT services, contributing to both routine and acute imaging services. CT experience is an advantage but not essential.
