About the Role

Step into a dynamic role at Auckland City Hospital, where you will bring your Nuclear Medicine expertise to a progressive and collaborative radiology team. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, contributing to a service thats recognised nationally.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing a wide range of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals
• Conducting quality control protocols
• Involvement in our National PRRT Radionuclide Therapy Service

You will be working in a modern environment equipped with two state-of-the-art Siemens SPECT/CT Gamma Cameras - Intevo Bold 16 and Intevo 6. Familiarity with Siemens technology is an advantage, but not essential - we value teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to clinical excellence above all.

As an integral member of our Nuclear Medicine team, consisting of experienced physicians and technologists, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and knowledge. Our team works at Auckland City Hospital, ensuring your expertise is utilized for our patients across a wide range of conditions and pathologies.

About you

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist looking to further their career within a large tertiary teaching hospital.

We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates who have worked within comparable healthcare systems and are able to transition confidently into a complex, patient-focused public healthcare environment.

You will have:

• A recognised tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
• Current registration (or eligibility for registration) with the New Zealand Medical Radiation Technologists Board
• A current Annual Practising Certificate, or eligibility to obtain one
• Experience working as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within a hospital-based environment
• Strong communication, teamwork and patient-centred care skills
• A commitment to continuous professional development and clinical excellence
