Registered Nurse - Oncology/Haematology Outpatients

We have an exciting permanent, part-time opportunity for a Registered Nurse looking to work in cancer care. Dunedin Hospital is the Cancer Centre for the Southern region, with satellite treatment areas across the district.
In this role, you will:
- work across a variety of areas in medical oncology, radiation oncology, and haematology
- administer chemotherapy and supportive treatments
- monitor patients receiving radiation therapy
- provide clinic support
- occasionally work within the acute Ward 8C.
- work Monday to Sunday rostered shifts, or as directed by the leadership team.

About you

You will:
- have current registration with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- have proven experience as a Registered Nurse
- have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
- have excellent time management, interpersonal, and organisational skills
- be adaptable, flexible, and solution-focused
- have previous acute oncology/haematology (experience is preferable but not essential).

Salary range
This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the expired NZNO CEA. Salary will be in accordance with the RN Pay Scale, between Step 2 ($81,683) and Step 7 ($106,739) p.a. pro-rata, depending on experience.
