- CNS salary band: $116,040 - $127,674 p.a pro-rata and KiwiSaver

About the role
- Undertake comprehensive geriatric assessments within community settings
- Work alongside our SMOs in clinic
- Provide consultancy, expert advice and clinical leadership
- Work across services to increase early preventive input, proactive assessment and intervention of complex clinical issues, with a focus on frailty and prevention of deconditioning
- Develop and influence education, health policies, clinical standards/practice, and service development at a local level for Older People's Health with a quality improvement focus
- Provide advanced nursing care for people with dementia, delirium, and older persons presenting with significant challenging behaviour through the development of a collaborative/interprofessional model of care

About you
You will:
- be a Registered Nurse/Nurse Practitioner with a valid Annual Practising Certificate, or a Registered Nurse who has completed or is working towards their clinical Master's
- have a postgraduate diploma within a relevant area
- be experienced in Older Persons Health
- successfully engage stakeholders in a positive manner
- have demonstrated expert knowledge of older adults and apply this within the context of Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora strategies
- be a confident and clear communicator with an engaging and personable style.

Salary range
This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between:
- CNS salary band - $116,040 - $127,674 p.a pro-rata
- NP salary band - $136,815 - $162,802 p.a pro-rata
