Week 1:
- Monday and Friday: 4.15pm - 8pm
- Saturday and Sunday: 7.30am - 8pm
Week 2:
- Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday: 4.15pm - 8.00pm

About the role
We are looking for an experience administrator to join our team at Ōamaru Hospital. As the first point of contact at our main reception, you'll provide a warm welcome and outstanding customer service to patients, whānau, and visitors.
You'll also play a vital behind-the-scenes role, delivering timely and accurate administrative support across several departments, including:
- the Maternity Ward
- the Takaro Ward
- District Nursing
- other clinical and non-clinical areas as needed.
This is a dynamic position that offers variety and the chance to expand your knowledge across multiple services within the hospital.

At Ōamaru Hospital, our administration team plays a vital role in supporting patient recovery and the overall delivery of care. In this position, you'll contribute meaningfully by providing accurate, efficient, and timely administrative support. Your work will be responsive and adaptable to the evolving needs of our service and organisation - ensuring that patients, whānau, and staff receive the support they need, when they need it most.

As an evening and weekend reception/administrator, you'll be someone who:
