About the Role
The primary purpose of the role is to provide national leadership and functional ownership of current and future recruitment technologies across Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora.
The role is accountable for the stability, maintenance, optimisation and ongoing evolution of recruitment systems, including multiple Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and associated platforms. Acting as the senior technical subject matter expert, the role serves as the primary interface between Recruitment, Digital Services, Data & Analytics, and external technology vendors. It holds accountability for recruitment reporting and insights, system upgrades, platform changes, and vendor performance management.
The Talent Technology and Insights Lead oversee Recruitment Technical Support functions, leads recruitment analytics and reporting activity, and provides functional leadership for technology upgrades, enhancements, integrations and system transitions.
As the role operates within a transforming system, a high degree of adaptability and flexibility is required as technologies, operating models and priorities continue to evolve.
About you
You bring over 15 years of proven experience leading and supporting enterprise recruitment technologies, including ATS and associated systems. You have a strong technical understanding of system configuration, integrations, workflows, and data, enabling you to optimise performance and drive continuous improvement.
You are confident working with external vendors and have experience managing technology service delivery, ensuring systems are reliable, fit for purpose, and aligned with organisational needs. Your ability to build strong relationships means you engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, translating complex concepts into clear, practical solutions.
You also bring a deep understanding of Taleo and Springboard, using your expertise to enhance recruitment processes and deliver high-quality outcomes.
