About the Role
The Principal Advisor will deliver timely, high-quality performance reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, while ensuring consistent and effective reporting across all business units. They will collaborate with the wider organisation to enhance Health New Zealand's overall performance reporting approach.
In addition, the role involves supporting the professional development of team members, conducting critical analysis of reporting across the organisation, and providing leadership, oversight, and strategic direction on key initiatives.
About you
You will hold a relevant tertiary qualification or bring equivalent experience, ideally gained within the health sector or a government setting, with a sound understanding of public sector structures and processes. Your ability to think critically and apply insights effectively will be key to your success.
Your leadership experience will include designing and managing complex portfolios of work and resources, as well as preparing high-quality reports for Executive Leadership Teams and Boards. You will also demonstrate strong analytical skills, a capacity to quickly grasp new information, and the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to a wide range of audiences.
