About the Role
Step into a key leadership role as a Platform Manager (Packaging & Deployment) within Digital Operations, where you will provide strategic and technical oversight across the end-to-end packaging and deployment lifecycle. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring deployment platforms and services are reliable, secure, and optimised, enabling consistent and efficient delivery of applications across complex environments. You will shape and drive strategies that strengthen automation, standardisation, and integration, ensuring seamless releases aligned with organisational standards and the broader digital strategy.
You will lead initiatives that enhance deployment pipelines, uplift release management practices, and support continuous delivery across national, regional, and local teams. With a strong focus on operational excellence, you'll maintain high service quality, minimise risk, and drive cost-effective solutions while enabling faster, more reliable delivery of digital services. Working closely with engineers, service owners, and senior stakeholders, you will ensure packaging and deployment capabilities evolve to meet changing business needs and support critical healthcare outcomes.
This role calls for a forward-thinking leader who can foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration. You'll champion modern deployment practices, empower teams to adopt smarter and more efficient ways of working, and ensure alignment with key initiatives to simplify processes and transform service delivery. Your leadership will be instrumental in building resilient, scalable deployment capabilities that underpin a high-performing, future-focused digital environment.

You are highly collaborative and outcome-driven, with the ability to influence stakeholders, align technical solutions to business needs, and drive continuous improvement.
