Taradale Medical Centre is seeking a New Graduate Registered Nurse with an interest in Primary Care to join our team in providing exceptional health care to our patients.

About the role:

• Triage
• Long-term condition management and health promotion
• Minor procedures
• Immunisations
• Wound care management
• Clinical inbox management – tasks, recalls, etc
• Phone support, assisting patient enquiries and managing repeat prescriptions. 
• Cannulation and venipuncture
• ECG's

Taradale Medical Centre is a Cornerstone and Foundation accredited practice comprised of General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioner, Nursing and Support staff. As a member of the Hawkes Bay PHO, our goal is to provide safe, effective and quality health care to our patients. We are a busy practice offering a range of services including general consultations, diabetes and chronic conditions management, women's health, smoking cessation, nurse led skin check clinics.

About you:

• You are a New Graduate Registered Nurse with a current APC and no restrictions
• Current CPR certificate
• You have excellent communication skills
• You will have proficient computer skills 
• High standard of clinical performance and compassionate caring values
• You will have a comprehensive understanding of inequities in access and health outcomes in Aotearoa and a commitment to providing equitable healthcare for our patients and whanau
• You are passionate about making a difference in our community
• Accuracy with documentation
• Happy, friendly personality
• Reliability, initiative, and dependability
• Ability to organise time and workload
