About the Role
The Transcription Administrator is responsible for providing accurate and timely transcription-related administrative support to Southland Hospital, facilitating appropriate clinical care for service users.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Transcribing voice-recorded medical reports
- Delivering comprehensive administrative assistance
- Produce and distribute clinical documentation to relevant internal and external stakeholders
- Verify Patient information is throughout the transcription and approval process to ensure clinical documents are accurate and up to date.
- Respond or redirect requests for information as appropriate

About you
Our ideal candidate will:
- Have at least two years administration experience
- Be a strong written and verbal communicator
- Have excellent computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Be a touch typist with a typing speed above 65 words per minute
- Have a strong attention to detail
- Be respectful of the privacy of individuals when dealing with personal information
