Mō te tūranga - About the role

You will be responsible for helping to maintain the oral health of children in our region.
You will work alongside our Oral Health Therapist /Dental Therapist / Community Dentist as part of a supportive and friendly team who is committed to delivering quality health services for our tamariki.

You'll be a people person who enjoys working with children, is culturally competent, and excellent customer service will come to you naturally.
You'll have a pleasant telephone manner, strong administration skills and an awareness of the need for confidentiality of patient records and information. As part of a tight-knit, small team, you will be self-motivated with good organisational skills and be a participatory team member.
You will need to have the flexibility to be able to cover occasional rostered afternoon shifts. You will also need to be able to work in other clinics throughout the region; on occasion, this may see you staying away overnight.

Utu whānui - Salary range
This role belongs to the DHBs/PSA Multi-Employer Collective Agreement and falls between Step 1 ($51,820 per annum) and Step 5 ($62,154 per annum pro-rata)
