About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Specialist with a sub-speciality interest to join our busy, innovative and close-knit team in delivering Ophthalmology care to our community in Te Tai Tokerau. We are committed to providing high quality services across our region bringing a diversity of Ophthalmological care as close to the community as possible. Cataract surgery forms a staple part of services provided so it is essential candidates interested in joining our team have this experience as well as contributing to the consultant on-call roster (1:5).

About you
To be considered you must have or be eligible for specialist (or locum tenens) registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) in an Ophthalmology Vocational scope of practice.
You will need to either be a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Ophthalmologists or commit to actively working to achieve this as soon as practicable.
