About the Role

We are seeking two experienced and enthusiastic Registered Nurses to join our supportive and innovative Radiology team at Hawke's Bay Fallen Soldier's Memorial Hospital. These permanent positions offer flexible FTE up to 2.0 total, with the opportunity to work across a broad scope of practice in a high-performing and fast-paced environment.

Radiology Nurses play a critical role in delivering nursing care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures. You'll work alongside radiologists, medical imaging technologists, and other nursing staff to provide clinical support, patient monitoring, IV administration, pre- and post-procedure care, and emergency response as required.

The Radiology Department at Hawke's Bay Hospital offers a wide range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services including CT, MRI, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, angiography, and image-guided procedures. Our team is collaborative, dedicated to clinical excellence, and committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care.

About you

You are an experienced Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment, with a passion for delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing radiological procedures. You are calm under pressure, quick to adapt, and committed to clinical safety and continuous improvement.

You will bring:

• A current APC and NZ Nursing Registration
• Minimum 2 years' recent clinical nursing experience (acute or procedural experience advantageous)
• IV certification and CPR competency (or willingness to achieve)
• Strong assessment, triage, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• A commitment to equitable and culturally safe care, grounded in Te Tiriti o Waitangi

Previous experience in radiology, theatre, PACU, ED or ICU is desirable but not essential – full orientation and training will be provided.
