About the Role
Do you want to be challenged in your working life?
Do you want to be part of an exceptional team and a community that needs you? Then we possibly have a job for you.
We have role for a Social Worker, Registered Nurse or Occupational Therapist based in our CAMHS Team in Palmerston North.
We expect the best from people we employ, and we try to give them the best! On this occasion, we are looking for a registered professional (with annual practising certificate) preferably someone with experience within a Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service, though more importantly someone who is passionate about Young People and their whanau. You will have a range of assessment and therapy skills (such as CBT, DBT, and ACT). We are also willing to provide appropriate training.
We require someone who can be creative, flexible and innovative. You must possess a grand sense of humour and be compassionate and kind in your everyday interactions. In return for all these wonderful skills we will provide a supportive team environment, opportunities to stretch yourself clinically and involvement in a fantastic community of people that want the best for their young people.
Midcentral has growing cities, not huge but ones that pack a powerful Social experience if that's what you are looking for; its not next to the sea, but pretty close and they are wild and wonderful; it has awesome walks and bike tracks but more importantly the people are what makes it a fabulous place to be - both in the community and especially within our service.
Ring me, come for a visit (video or physically) allow us to share our awesomeness with you!!
